This Tiran 5 served in the South Lebanon Army (SLA) during the 90s.
I hade to make some modifications to represent a SLA Tiran 5 since the kit represents a IDF tank. Tamiya gives you a fantastic model but if I do it again I would chose Takoms Tiran 4 instead. The main reason for that is that it represent a Tiran 4 (made from the T-54) And It have all features for a SLA tank. It’s also a little more crisp from he beginning.
My Tamiya Tiran was updated with RB barrel, friul-track, MIG production fuel plumbing, PE and resin from DiVision. Also some scratch building. Tarps made of Tamiya epoxy putty
