Takom Jagdpanther G1 Main Gun

The main gun went together nicely but I had some small fitting problems. Nothing big but if this were a stand alone kit I would have given it more love.
The barrel is the absolute best I’ve seen in molded in plastic. But I don’t no if I use it yet.

This one was finished a couple of years ago. It is almost out of the box. I added Tamiya Metal gun barrel and Friul tracks.

all the hatches will be open.

Dragon Jagdpanther G1 Early

Talking about Jagdpanthers... this one is from 2014. It is Dragon G1 Early w/molded zimmerit.
I added lots of aftermarket products to make the Jagdpanther 314 from Pz Jg Abt 654.

Takom Jagdpanther G1

Time to start a new project! Since Takom and other brands releasing new very detailed Panther kits, it’s hard to not start build one of them. Me and a friend have an idea about making a Ardenner 44-45 diorama. More about that in later posts.
The fit in the kit is very very good. Also the details. But I’m not a big fan of the plastic. A little bit too soft for my taste.
I’m going to make full interior but I’m not planing to “over detail” it.

Eduard MIG-21 BIS 1/48

Eduard MIG-21 BIS “weekend edition” out of the box.
I don’t normally build aircrafts but this was a challenge from some of my friends. Part of the challenge was to compete at C4-open, Sweden’s largest modelshow in Malmö.
I wanted people to see that the aircraft was build by an armour guy.

New year and time to pick up my long forgotten blog. Why not do it in English?
I’m not going to write that much. More pictures. Some step by step or just work in progress and perhaps some finish work.

Lets start with something that I did over the Christmas holiday.

Inspiration 

Added some Plastic Card instead of the side skirts 

Black and white for shadow effect 

Mission Models MMP066 and 032 as base coat

MMP 041 Highway Yellow as camouflage 

Chipping with acrylics and oils, washes with enamels

Weathering with AK interactive products and pigments
